Weekend Retreat
- Build a supportive community where every person is respected, valued, and engaged;
- Deepen our understanding of racial equity;
- Reflect on our identities as women;
- Explore the economic system to better engage with our finances;
- Learn concrete tools to put our values into action.
Follow-Up Support Sessions
Two online sessions and one-on-one coaching will provide support to clarify your goals and create actionable steps, after the retreat. Our collaborative environment ensures accountability and support as you align your financial resources with your values.
Day-Long Capstone
A day-long in-person capstone offers time to strengthen our community, share insights, and solidify our plans for action.
Participants will leave with:
- A deeper understanding of how gender and race influence your relationship with money and privilege.
- Language to discuss important concepts and values with your children, families, and communities.
- Tools and resources for transforming your relationship to your finances, including saving, spending, banking, and investing.
- A concrete action plan to align your money with personal values.
- A community of women that offers support, accountability, and a shared vision for a more just society.
"The Intensive Workshop helped me shift from reading and learning about the seemingly insurmountable problems posed by racism in our society to imagining my own role in making progress to fix these problems, and taking concrete actions to do so."
Janet Nahirny
Intensive Workshop Participant
"The Intensive Workshop was completely paradigm-shifting for me for me because it connected how race affects me in a way that I didn’t have in my lexicon. Without the workshop, I would have been stuck in a disconnected space without understanding how I have participated in the systems that contribute to economic inequity.”
