Weekend Retreat
- Build a supportive community where every person is respected, valued, and engaged;
- Deepen our understanding of racial equity;
- Reflect on our identities as women;
- Explore the economic system to better engage with our finances;
- Learn concrete tools to put our values into action.
Online Learning Sessions
Two online sessions will provide further learning about the racial wealth gap, time to reflect on assignments and action plans. Our collaborative environment ensures accountability and support as you align your financial resources with your values.
One-On-One Coaching
Participants can partake in a free coaching session anytime during the experience. The sessions offer individualized support to clarify personal goals, strategize next action steps or reflect on barriers in the way of bringing your vision to fruition.
Day-Long Capstone
A day-long in-person capstone offers time to strengthen our community, share insights and successes, and solidify our plans for action.
Participants will leave with:
- A deeper understanding of how gender and race influence your relationship with money and privilege.
- Language to discuss important concepts and values with your children, families, and communities.
- Tools and resources for transforming your relationship to your finances, including saving, spending, banking, and investing.
- A concrete action plan to align your money with personal values.
- A community of women that offers support, accountability, and a shared vision for a more just society.
"Any initial anxiety that I had about doing a deep dive with a group of wealthy white women into reflecting on my privileged status was immediately and definitively dispelled by the facilitators. They quickly established a welcoming, supportive, and unexpectedly playful atmosphere that encouraged us to recognize and build our solidarity with each other as women. I think we all felt empowered—emotionally, socially, and practically—to see ourselves as protagonists in a collective endeavor towards establishing racial justice and closing the racial wealth gap. Highly recommended!"

"It left me connected to courageous women, inspired by new insights and called to personal action while held in collective accountability. Oh and of course joy, dancing, breaking bread and grieving together was all in the special mix too. Julia and the Impact Collective are making change happen.”
